I have a curve 8310 question? i took the micro sd card and put it into the adapter and inserted into my computer and right clicked on it and then hit "format" it deleted it all and then I inserted it into my curve. I shouldn't be getting a message saying "media card inserted should I" or any type of notification on the screen? in kevin's video for the 8800 series it had a "media card inserted" logo display on the screen. just wondering how i can know if it's in there right ? thanks

go to options >media card > the bottom screen it tell how much total space, free space

ok so if i put a 512 Mb card in and it says 482 MB free space that's the memory card and not the actual blackbery's memory capacity ?

yeah... the memory card..yeah the blackberry has only 64 mb which is why u want to store all ur music , pictures,and videos in the memory card.
