Just fell out while trying to swap media card. Not a huuuge deal, but it doesn't look like any pieces broke. Is this common, and is there a way to just snap it back in?

If nothing broke, it should be possible to put it back in. At least you didn't lose it.

In this image, the tabs at the bottom go into the corresponding tabs with holes on your BB.

Yes it should snap right back in near the top of the metal cage. Get one side latched and snap the other side in. Here is a link that might show more detail with proper insertion of the card itself if you manage to get the cage back in...
