It's there but it won't open. Do I have to purchase a pdf viewer or something like that?

Try emailing it to yourslef and opening it through the attachment in the email and save it to your phone that way. I know that you can view pdf through an email attachment and save it to your media card.

It's too small to read. Any suggestions?

No Problem. So now you can view it from your media card right?

I've played around with it a bit and it will only let me save one page at a time. I'm over it but at least I learned how to find things on my media card.

    Thanks again

I have owned BBs since ... well, forever. Since the advent of memory cards I have been trying to decide what I would need one for.

I use my BBs for mail, calendar and contacts. One of them has TeleNav which is great, but that's it.

I have an iPod for iPod-type things.

My questions are: What size media card do you have and what do you use it for?

No Problem. I think your only other option would be to find an app that allows you to view PDF docs.

I have a 1 gig and right now all I have is music (not much) and my ebook. I'm going to shop in the crack store to see what I can find.

Thanks again for all your help.

Posted this problem on another thread, but I figured I'd put it here too -

anyone got an answer why with 2 different media cards, I can only get enough music to have it show 1.1 GB left out of a 2 GB card and I'm unable to add any more music? Is there some sort of limit on the 'Music' folder on the Media Card?

    arrgh!

I have a 4GB card and have about 2.5 GBs of music on it. Have you tried formatting the card?

Yup, formatted both of 'em. Still only able to add music to the 1.1GB remaining point.

Strange, does it give you an error message?

(my apologies, I seem to have inadvertently split this thread).

NDO, no error message, it's like the card says "no thanks, I'm full" and won't accept any more music files. I get a response from the computer that says something to the effect of 'cannot copy _song_. The directory or file cannot be created.'

Are you transferring through Roxio Media Manager through windows? Have you tried both ways?

No, using just Windows. That may be my problem, I don't know. I never could get Roxio to work (imagine that!)...my PC at home never would load it. Might try to sneak a copy onto my work PC, tho that won't help me wtih my iTunes library.

Wonder why it would be different storage on the media card between the two? Weird.

I would try and get Roxio it is a bit of a pain to load it as it takes a while but that may be the solution to your problem. I Used Roxio and was able to get all my songs on there.

I think this was asked on another thread but maybe you will know...I have an 8G media card. Got it because I thought I could store themes and applications I am testing so they don't use my device memory. Does anyone know if it is possible to move application files to a memory card?
(please forgive me if I have asked this in the wrong spot)

Not Possible. They all get stored to device memory.
