A prompt keeps coming up on my blackberry saying, "Do you want to enable mass storage mode, you may not be able to access some media files in this mode" I'm not sure what that means or whether to put yes or no

I assume you put in a Micro SD card for extra storage? All you have to do is click yes and it will show up on your PC like a usb drive would. this will allow you to drag and drop pics,mp3's, etc...without opening up Desktop manager.

Do you have a memory card in your BB? If so, enabling mass storage mode allows you to just view and copy files on the card from your PC without any special software. I recommend enabling it. YMMV.

Simply means that while in Mass Storage Mode, you cannot see the contents of the card from the Blackberry, only from the PC.
