I have a lot of games and was wondering if there was a way to put the icons in a folder in the menu instead of having them in the primary menu.. i like things very neat and organized and to have their own categorical folder type system

Sure. Press Menu and select add folder. Give the folder a name.

Once done, go to the icon you want to move, press menu, select
move, use the trackball to move the icon to the folder and press
    the trackball again to finish.

When you press 'Menu' all you see is:
    - Move Application
    - Hide Application
    - Show All
    - Switch Application

    But no 'Add Folder' choice?

(I just noticed that I might be in the wrong Forum. I manage both 83xx's and 88xx's for the office, but I carry an 8800 myself. Would that make a difference here?)

    Try this:

    Options>
    Screen/Keyboard>
    (scroll to bottom)
    Menu - Full Menu

You may be on Short Menu.

    Hope this helps!

Also, perhaps it depends on what OS u r using...I have 4.5 and I have the add folder option but I don't know if it's available to those with 4.2
But the directions in the first reply you received is exactly how you would do it, if you were to have the OS u needed...

    Thanks for the replies!

I tried looking for the Full menu option -- no dice.

Looks like I'm running OS 4.2.xxx w/AT&T as my carrier. Went to their website and OS 4.2 is the highest OS they have for their 8800's. Oh well, I tried. I was just trying to figure out a way to get rid of the extra icons before I get a hundred phone calls from my BlackBerry users in the field! Looks like everyone will just have to hide the darn things for now.

I'll stop here and take my questions to the proper forum from here on out.

    Thanks again,

    Vincent
