I lost the back plate to my curve. How/Where can I get a new one?

How does one lose a backplate? LOL

Check with your carrier to see if they have any spares that they could give you. They may have a returned/defective device in the back that they can take the back cover from (the back cover would be fine)

If that doesn't work, I have ordered several times from Cellular Accessories - LG, Tools, 3G, Acer, BlackBerry, Apple, Mobiado, Accessories Store, Samsung, NEC They are located in Hong Kong so if you want it quick use the expedited shipping. You'll have it in 2 days or less. The regular shipping will take 7-10 days. Either way, I have been satisfied with the products and service I received from them.

if it were me needing one, I prefer the seido one that has the cutout for the speaker. Just my opinion
