Upgraded to OS 4.5. It went badly.

I was told that I should reload OS 4.2. The problem is, I don't have the old OS.

Does anyone know where I can download an old version OS?

    Thanks.

    Try googling it..
    Are you using DM 4.7?

    Thank you for your help.

Despite my efforts, I was unable to find it myself.

Thank you again for your help.

Why are you giving up on 4.5 so easily?

See the link in my sig for upgrade/downgrade procedure>

Also, I echo Tae's question, are you using DM 4.7 to do your OS installs? If you are, I would strongly suggest you remove DM 4.7 from your computer using Control Panel's Add/Remove Programs, download and install DM 4.6 and try reloading OS 4.5 again before you downgrade to 4.2

    I'm still working on it.

Removed DM 4.7 and installed DM 4.6.

I have been fooling with this BB since Nov. (I have another that is working fine...just trying to get this one rebooted and loaded so I can sell it).

    When I install 4.5, I end up with a continuous boot/reboot loop.

When I install 4.2, I end up with 543 Error.

    Both instances occur regularly.

I have followed all instructions on the "How to recover a 'nuked' blackberry", etc.

I'm starting to believe that this is a bad phone, i.e., something that can't be fixed.
