    Okay this is really annoying me.

    Every time I start tethering, I get knocked to 1x almost immediately. On my Mogul, I could set it to EVDO only. Can you do this with a BlackBerry?

    I know all about not being able to do anything but use the web when in this mode but if it can be turned on and off, I'd be very happy.
