For some reason when I'm on my home screen, where just the 5 icons are across the bottom, the highlighted one no longer says what it is. I dont know how this got changed, but if anyone knows how to change it back, I would appreciate it.

DO a abttery reset with the device powered on. Leave out for 5-10 seconds

Yeah, take it out and leave it out for 20-30 seconds. Then pop it back in and it'll reboot.
