Girlfriend just got a Blackberry Curve with Verizon. Since the e-mail notifications are pushed, she gets them at 1AM when automated messages are sent. On Verizon's Windows Mobile sync client, there is an option to set the time of day that the sync will be performed so that, for instance, it doesn't attempt to sync between 10PM and 6AM. Is there any similar functionality on the Blackberry? If so, how do I set it up? Thanks for the help!
There's not a similar setting in the BlackBerry. However, your girlfriend can set her profile to "Phone Only" if she doesn't want to be alerted by the arrival of emails and texts. They'll arrive silently.
also i believe i saw an app in the app store that always you to set special alerts for certain people. so she can have messages from Verizon set to silent. or have an alarm set for first thing in the morning and turn the device off when going to sleep. then when you wake up it will be on. but off while you sleep(thats what i do.)
