On my 8300 every time I try to type the letter p it inserts the P but also does whatever enter would do depending on where I am. Any idea how to fix this?

That does not happen on mine, it suggests an error in the keyboard.

If you are still under warranty, you might get it replaced. If not, search Ebay for parts.

Have you tried reloading the OS? Could just be a glitch in the system.

Go to options / auto text. Make sure the P is not set to something weird.

Failing that, a battery pull (especially if this didn't happen before)...

Thanks all. It's only 2 months old, I tried a battery pull, and have been very careful about fat fingering still happens no wierd auto text settig. Looks like I'm trying for a replacement.
