Hello guys,
I think i gonna get crazy with my bb 8310. After un update from 4.2...to 4.5.163 my keyboard isn't lighting up. I change dim light in off, i reseated the phone couple of times, i changed the firmware with 4.5.XYZ India, UK, Ger, bot nothing. It is working only with this firmware 8310M_PBr4.2.2_rel323_PL2.5.0.34_A4.2.2.176_Vodafo ne.exe
I changed 10 firmwares, i covered the sensor, nothing........i tried a Little application which can light up your keyboard, but nothing.
The guaranty it's off.
Can help me someone?
I send a email to the bb support, but nothing. For 2 weeks i'm search on google, but nothing

Does or did it work with the latest official OS release from your carrier?

i bought the bb from a guy whom i lost the contact with him. On case is wrote vodaphone. I upgraded the latestS firmS from vodaphone uk but dindn't work....
Nice bug they have!
