Why? Help! I did not change any settings. It DOES light when doing the security checks before the phone is fully reset, but when I get to the home page or ANYTHING, they will not light.
There is a light sensor on your bb. If there is ample light in the room or if you are outside in the daylight the keyboard won't light. The sensor is located where the notification led is at. Try covering the light sensor with your finger for a second or two and see if the keyboard and trackball light up.
