Is there a quick keyboard shortcut to lock and unlock the keyboard from the home screen?

I''m new to BB and one of the features I found most useful with other phones was being able to lock the keyboard without having to go through any menus.

Have a look at this thread http://forums.crackberry.com/f52/qui...eyboard-55725/. Post #11 lists all the ways that I could think of to lock the keyboard.

Go to your phone log..menu, options, general options, turn off dial from home screen.

Now when u are at your home screen, press "k"....and your keyboard will lock. There are also a ton of other handy one key shortcuts at the home screen and within other apps.

    Happy crackberrying!

I prefer disabling Dialing from Home Screen and using 'K'

This also unlocks a ton of other keyboard shortcuts... check out the link in my signature for more info!

you ca also do what I did...

options > screen/keyboard > right (or left) convenience key > keyboard lock

so you only have to hit a side button and it can lock it for you...
