The back button and a few random keys (G, H, S, W, and one or two others) have stopped working on my phone. First they would work sometimes, now they do not at all.
I can still get them to work 99% of the time by holding the key and squeezing the bottom of my phone just under the shift key on the left side (or squeezing the phone and hitting the key).
I've read that keys may stop operating due to water damage, but I'm not sure if this is the case in my situation. The phone was purchased slightly used online and work fine for about 3 months.
Tried taking the phone apart removing the keyboard cover and cleaning the contacts etc, but the issues persists.
If it is less than a year old you should call Rogers customer service to see about getting it replaced. If it is older than a year and you have insurance you can go that route.
