Is this normal for downloads like songs to take some time? Not 10 minutes or so, but maybe a few minutes for a few songs.

Using any type of flash drive like this as storage is new to me.

Or should these things be transfering much quicker?

I just want to make sure I dont have a defective SD card. i bought a 2g sandisk off ebay for 15 total shipped.

i can't speak for the curve, but i use the software that came w/ the pearl to transfer songs and it's pretty quick. i think you got a good deal, too, on your card. nice!

someone w/ a curve will let you know, i'm sure.

My computer is kind of slow itself, so that may be a lead for the problem. Just wanted to make sure i didnt receive a bunk card.
