i did the JL wipe now DM doesnt recognise the phone. i tried battery pull, tried wipe'n n reset factories, restarting computer, it just wont work. i did this before n it went fine now i dont know what happened! somebody please help! my DM doesnt want to recognise the phone with the big 507 as the screen!

Search for Blackberry 101 and you will see a topic that explains how to send software to a dead phone.

Can I ask why you wiped your phone? Are you upgrading your OS? If you're trying to solve a problem, a wipe is kind of extreme. If you're trying to upgrade, you could try to remove your battery while plugged in to your pc, start DM, then put your battery back in. I have read this works. If it doesn't, here is the link you need.

ron b i didnt find any topic besides the putting os on a nuked berry but thats it..

n exelant, i need the cd to do the dead recovery so that sucks i dont have it :/

n yes i did the recovery becuz i had 4.2., then went to 4.5.0.81 the newest but youtube didnt work for me so i tried to downgrade a lil to 4.5.0.52 which wasnt working so i tried a wipe.... then bam! this happens

Welcome to CrackBerry.

The most likley reason it does not connect, your USB drivers have become corrupted. It is simple to correct.

Windows Control Panel / Programs / Uninstall. Select the BlackBerry Desktop Software and use the Repair Option.

You can also reinstall the DTM from your original download, either will restore the correct USB drivers.

ooh no i checked, my usb driver isnt corrupted. i tried connecting my berry on laptop, didnt work.. i connected another one n it did.

then i switched over to my other pc and connected to berry, didnt work.. connected anoda berry n it worked..

Did you resend your service books after you upgraded to .81?

That pretty well rules out any problems with the USB drivers, but unfortunatly it has narrowed the problem down to your device USB port.

A device exchange is your best bet.

Thanks for the link but I think those instructions will be the same as installing on a nuked Phone that were in the Blackberry 101 list.
