Jivetalk isnt working on my sprint. Tried OTA and the app loader. Here's the email I sent to Beejive and still waiting for a response.

Hi, I've gotten a replacement blackberry and when i try to install
jivetalk, it crashes and the error message is this:

"Error starting JiveTalk
$2dBlackBerry$2dpearl:Class.'com.beejive.jivetalk. BBChatStore$ChatEntry'
multiply defined


This is for the new blackberry curve for sprint model 8330, running OS 4.3.0.127

I downloaded the latest version OTA and installed version 1.0.5, and
also tried an older version - 1.0.3

That didnt work either.

Did anyone else have problems and what did you do to resolve it?

I didn't have any problems. It installed fine and runs great on my Sprint curve.

I had no errors like that when I install jivetalk on my sprint curve too.

Go to the BB browser, press menu and options, then browser config. Verify that emulation mode is set to BlackBerry.

I did a power reset. Turned it off, took the battery out for a few mins then put it back in and tried again.. it worked.
