    Hi all,
My 1st Curve (8320) had a problem with the Microphone so Orange delivered a new one and swapped it over.

I used the backup file to put all of my information back into the Blackberry but it started running very slowly and giving me memory warnings. It now claims to have no memory left at all and is taking ages to do anything at all!

I never had this problem with the 1st one - and as the new one after using the backup file has the same info and options on it - I don't understand what the problem is.

My memory card is almost completely empty - so I was wondering if I simply need to change some memory options so that the memory card takes hold of the information instead of the Blackberry memory? The trouble is - I've no idea how to do this and cannot find the memory options for the life of me!

Someone please help me! I feel a little like Crackhead who has just been robbed of his drugs! The whole Crackberry thing suddenly makes sense!

Start with Media > Options, under General set Device Memory Limit to 12MB. You can even lower this to 5MB if your using OS 4.5.

    Second, do a battery pull.

Third, check out these threads:http://forums.crackberry.com/f3/how-...-memory-34633/, http://forums.crackberry.com/f35/cra...eleased-52044/

    Edit:

Also, if you have ringtones, pictures, music, etc. you can move them to your media card. It's not a memory card in the sense that it adds memory to your BB to run, that's why it's refered to as media. The BB OS and all apps have to be in your BB's internal memory.
