Hi
Can someone tell me how I look up the IP address of my 8320 please?
I was also wondering if I can chang the way the BB shows up on my network so instead of 192.168..... i see a name.

Your IP address is almost certainly automatically assigned to you by your wireless router. It will most likely be in the range 192.168.1.32 - 64.
I do not have an 8320 so I can't get to the relevant menu. I do not think that there is a way to name your Blackberry. I have looked at the documentation and cannot see a way to do this. - 05-03-2008, 05:16 PMThread Author #3

just go to your "Manage Connections" Icon and go to your wireless network options.. using the menu key on ur connection, you should see the IP from there.. you can also do other things like PING an address or site.
As far as naming the BB.. I'm not sure if you can do that.. play around with the BB options.. I will see if I find anything out
