I read the Lecture on installing third party apps, but have a question. When I unzip the file, there are three types of files. They are .jad, .alx, and .cod. The lecture goes through what to do with the alx and cod files, but no mention of the jad file. Do I disregard it in the installation? If not, what is it and what do I do with it?

Should only need the alx and cod file.

the .jad file is for OTA downloads.

When you go through DM and use the apploader, it will allow you to just add the .alx, it auto installs the .cod file as well.

The .alx is the file that tells DM what to do.

Thanks, Sunkast. Question--before you answered the question, I installed the alx file as instructed in the Tutorial. The program works fine. But, taking your suggestion, I tried to use apploader and install the cod file. Got an error message. However, the program works fine--just tested it out. Anything I should do, or just use the program as is and don't worry about it.
