installing themes

hey guys i was just wondering how to install themes onto my 8310. i remember there was a blog entry of how to do it but i can't seem to dig it up. and are the themes on pinstack.com legit? like it won't eff up my phone?

No.

If you read the whole thing, about two thirds down, it has instructions for Downloading and Installing third party themes.

The middle part, as it says, is about unlocking the vendor themes.

Depends on which part your talking about. If you buy a theme and do the OTA install you dont have to do anything other than switch between themes. If you get a theme you need to download via PC then you just download the theme and unzip it then hook up your device via the usb cable. Start Desktop manager and go to application loader hit start then it will check for applications on your device after thats done you hit browse and find the file you downloaded. Hit finish and it will load it on there for you.

WOW.. I thought you had to delete vendor files and all that with the warning that crackberry is NOT responsible for a nuked device...

When You say unzip, what do I have to do in order to do that?

Do I have the OS on my comp?
I realize these may be sumb questions but bear with me...

Whats the reason behind deleting vendor themes>
