I just got my blackberry 8310 (upgrade from razr) and want to increase the ring/vibrate number to more than 3. Is there a way to allow the blackberry to keep ringing for as long as the network allows it? As of now the network allows my phone to ring for 30 sec but the bb only rings for 10 sec and then stops.

For some unknown reason the default RIM ring/vibrate settings are the least customizable things on the devices. They've never been good about providing, out of the box, much flexibility. So you'll have to search through the likes of Handango for third-party applications (there are a few out there).

If anyone is on O2 in the UK here's the settings for an 8310. Type:
    **61*901*11*30#
Then press the green call button. You should get a message back but it won't really tell you anything. It worked for me and now I have 30 seconds of ringing before O2 VM kicks in.
