I just today have had a weird thing happen 3 times. I got a call this morning from an unknown number. and then i look randomly throughout the day and the incoming call screen with that number is up and I can't accept or ignore the call. the screen really is just frozen. i have to take out the battery to restart the phone.

could this be a virus or something from downloading a bad application. i recently downloaded an app that allows you to see people's area code city and state if its an unknown number

Anyone know anything about this?

My boyfriend had downloaded an application similar to what you are describing and he removed the application and the problem hasn't occurred since.

I am presuming this was a free download. If so, I would remove it and see if it happens again.

One of the mod's had pointed out that there has never been a known blackberry that has gotten a virus thus far.
