I just got off the phone with 02. First I called business and when I told them I wanted the sim free curve they transferred me to another department and they told me they don't sell units without having a contract!!
Just back from vacation - WOW - was glad to seetmag was getting the Curve on Tuesday but then not....oh well....so much for missing the excitement which I did
Congratulations on your 8800, tmag. Looking forward to the pics and to the Curve of course
And pics have been taken, but being at work i dont have the possibility to downsize them so have sent them to Nav and Kasper to help me out....(and make them jealous).
Have not yet decided whether to get one. Am hoping that Bell Mobility in Canada will release a CDMA version [BB 8330], perhaps? Here's hoping.
(As I previously posted, Rogers Wireless [GSM] and RIM sent out a Press Release dated May 4/07 that BB 8300/Curve would be available in Canada in JUNE/07.)

Reason: Corrected Model Number
After getting a Curve from O2, how would one go about having it unlocked if living in the US and not an O2 customer?
Well i have seen something on eBay, but to be honest, the safest way would be to get the code from O2. Now for O2 Customer you would ring up and ask for the code.
However, it would cost you 15. You could normally put a Pay As You Go sim card in with 15 credit, and then O2 would take it off....But as a non-customer, not sure...
