I did a search and only came up with posts that said their curve was too loud. Mine definitely is not. Is there any way I can bump up the volume?

I think peoeple have said there is a difference in the volume between the OS's. Have you recently upgraded your? Just curious.
If the ringtone volume is not loud enough on the "loud" setting then I would suggest changing to a louder ringtone. Probably not the advice you were hoping to get but that is what has worked for me. I work in a manufacturing plant with LOTS of noisy power tools and I just can't hear an mp3 ringtone. Mine has to be a pitch that rings above the power tools so I use the Alarm-Electronic on mine and it is perfect for my work environment.
