I Need Help! I deleted all of Outlook Calendar Entries!
- Hi,
I synced my Outlook (2003) calendar with my curve two nights ago, and it worked beautifully.
Then, I added a few items to the calendar last night and this morning on my blackberry. Then I hooked it up to my computer so that the items I put on the blackberry would be on my Outlook calendar on my computer.
I thought it worked fine, but now that I look at my Outlook calendar almost every entry (over 1000) are no longer there. A random 10 or so events remain. And yet all of the events are still on the calendar on the blackberry.
My questions:
1. What did I do?
2. How do I get everything back on my Outlook calendar? (I've tried syncing just from the device to Outlook, and it looks like its working but then none of the times show up on Outlook).
PLEASE HELP!10-11-08 05:01 PMLike 0 - 1) This is only a temporary fix, but set your Desktop sync settings so that it prompts you before any additions or deletions. I ran into the same problem and have yet to solve it. Whenever DM asks to delete your items, just choose REJECT.
2) The deleted items should be in your DELETED ITEMS folder in Outlook. As long as you didn't empty that folder, the items should be there. Go to the DELETED ITEMS folder, then drag and drop the calendar items to your CALENDAR bar/folder and that should fix it.
I know it's a late response, but no one managed to answer this question in these forums. I only recently ran into this issue and thought this answer might help someone in the future. Unfortunately, the overall problem remains unresolved.Last edited by jko; 09-17-09 at 05:38 AM.
