I need help getting my 8330 to hook up with Desktop

I have a 9630 V5.0.0.975 that hooks right up to Desktop Manager without a problem. When I try to connect my 8330 V4.5.0.77 I get nothing.

Under Device Manager it shows up as "HoudiniSoft Virtual Blackberry CDMA Seroal Port Driver v.5 64bit (COM164)". Can anyone help me.


BTW I'm running Windows 7 64 bit

I had this same problem not to long ago, not sure if you have tried this or not but here goes...

If you go to add/remove and then to the Desktop Manager and click on it, it should give you the option to add/remove/repair. Click repair, and it will go through a bunch of status bars like when you plug in your BB. And then it will tell you it's done. I went back started DM and it recognized my BB no problem.

If the Repair doesn't work then an uninstall, reboot and the re-install with the current version will usually cure it as well.
