its not going to say 3G, as the 8320 is an EDGE/GPRS phone only.

you cant always just pop your SIM into the phone, you need to log into your BIS account and add the phones new PIN/IMEI onto your account. after that, it will get the proper service books and email setup icons and will properly register on the network.

call at&t and tell them to add your PIN/IMEI onto your account. then they will send the necessary service books. then you will be all set.
