What is going on here? The 4g card advises it stores about 1000 pics. After about 24 pics the BB won't save anymore. I get a message saying "file system is full"

    Mass storage is enabled.....any ideas?

Are they being saved to your media card. Check to make sure there is a valid path.

Threefive is correct. You need to set the camera's options to save photos to the media card instead of the BBs device memory.

After you set it to save to your card make sure you move all the pics you already have taken to the card as well.

Ok, I'm a little confused. How do I confirm they are going to my card? I thought by enabling mass storage device automatically put the pics on the card.

When you're camera is on, click shortcut menu button, then click on "options"
You will see that specific option there for where to save pictures.

No, that does not automatically change the camera defaults to save to the microSD. Go to the camera, hit menu / options / Store Pictures on Memory Card

If you are saving the pics taken with your BB camera, while camera is open click menu > options > store pictures to memory card > save

Just for reference, a 4GB card should store WELL over 1000 pictures... What is an average picture? Maybe 500KB on the high end? 1000KB per MB and 1024MB per GB... So, 2 pictures a megabyte x 1024 = 2048 pictures a gigabyte x 4 gigabytes = 8192. I know you were saying it as a guess or something but, I'm just a nerd like that. Of course if you have music/video that will cut it down drastically. Plus "4GB" cards are usually only 3.7 (Thats because they round down the GB from 1024MB to 1000MB for advertising)...

You can also get more out of your storage if you set the camera to take medium or smaller pictures.
