    Hello. I am new to Blackberry. I need to find out why my email is coming through without any images, but a lot of HTML coding. How do I fix this?

    What is your OS version? Options>about> 3rd line down.

    You need 4.5 to get HTML email

    Do you have the latest OS? I'm not sure if 4.3 had HTML email, but 4.5 definitely does. Update your berry. There is probably an official OS at the top of the Blackberry Curve 83xx forums.

    You can also google the latest betas.

    I downloaded the new 4.5 OS today and I'm not getting images. Can anyone help? That was the reason I downloaded it!

    Make sure that you have HTML enabled.

    Options in your email-> Email Settings-> Enable HTML Email

    I haven't gotten any HTML emails yet, but I'm hoping that it works because that's the same reason that I downloaded it!

    I can't get to that! Here's what I'm doing
    -Click on Mail icon from home screen
    -Click on Menu button
    -Select Options
    -Select Email Settings
    That brings up Message Services: [email protected]
    Confirm delivery: yes
    Confirm read: yes
    Send read receipts no

    That's all that comes up. No option to Enable HTML. Should I be looking somewhere else? I don't know where else to look--sorry. Thanks for your help!

    Resend your service books, go to the e-mail settings icon, open it and resend your service books...

    You might try a battery pull to reset your BB. My HTML worked after doing this.

    To do a battery pull, remove the battery while the device is ON, wait a minute and re-insert the battery...

    Resend your service books, go to the e-mail settings icon, open it and resend your service books...
    I don't even know what a service book is. Where do I find it? And I did pull the battery out; nothing changed. Thanks for your help.

    I've been having problems with this too. And when I go into email, options, and email settings I only have: message services, confirm delivery, confirm read, send read receipts.

    I've done battery pull recently and that didn't seem to have any effect on this...

    Go thru your list of icons and one of them should be e-mail settings/set-up. Click open the icon and go to service books>click that and resend them...
