you have to buy the unlocking code from a vendor unfortunately.
Once you have the unlock code specific to your actual phone (meaning each phone has a unique code) Options - Advanced Options - Sim Card - type MEPD then MEP2
depends on the vendor. Can take a few hours to 24 hrs from what I heard. Mine was supposed to be an unlocked curve, but the vendor sent me a locked one and had to send me the code via email. It took him 3 days but this was a rare occurance. From researching the curve, I learned about the ebay vendors and how they sell unlocking services for phones and smartphones. Just look at their feedback to gauge their reputation.
