ok so im new to the website.

I have a new blackberry curve 8330 with sprint.
i have wireless but they have locked and hidden the internet broser or anything related to that so i cant use my wireless n i pay for their internet.
i know there has to be a way i can unlock that application cause i really do have wireless.
i cant even use my blackberry messenger!

any advices?

Wireless? Are you talking about using your router at home? If so, your device is not a wireless device. You need a data plan to use the internet and Blabkberry messenger.

Okay so you have a data plan, but sprint locked or blocked you from the browser.

How do you know its locked.?
Are you just not seeing the browser icon or are you sure its not there.?

Sounds like maybe the OP doesn't have a data plan? 8330 is CDMA, so there's no wi-fi. Or perhaps the OP is expecting wi-fi but not to be had on an 8330?

How can you have a 8330 on Sprint? Not possible is it?

My browser on my 8330 dissapeared last week and I had to call Verizon to get it back. They said the browser had an update and that's why it dissapeared. I didn't try to resend my service books tho.

Huh? Yes, the 8330 is on Sprint. Sprint is CDMA.

by wireless i meant wifi.
ive been tld that my blackberry has wifi n i see the icon as well like if it was connected but is like sprint blocked and deleted my internet icon so i dont get on it unless i pay for their internet service. im guessing when i do they will unlock my internet icon.

is there a way i can unlock it so i can use the wifi n not have to pay for internet service?

Have you tried going to your menu and pressing show all and make sure its just not hidden.

Other than sending your service books or doing what tae has mentioned I am at a loss. Are you sure you dont have an 8350i? If you do have the 8350i , you might want to look at the complete wifi link in my signature. That might help you out some.

im positive that sprint has locked it so i pay for the internet service... but i want to unlock it so i can use my free wifi.

There is only 2 models of curve that are wifi enabled. The 8320 and 8350i. THe 8320 is a gsm device and wont work on sprint network. The 8330 is a cdma device but does not have wifi. So either you have the 8350 and are just mistaken on model or........I dont know what else. When you go to options is there a wifi connections?

Okay. If you have an 8330 with sprint... You don't have wifi. That means you cannot use "wireless". You must have a data plan with sprint. What plan do you have with sprint? Does it include internet? If you are not paying sprint for internet on the cell phone, you cannot use internet.
For everyone that reads this post, sorry for being so redundant but I wanted to make sure the OP got it.

Now, if you DO have a regular data plan through sprint, meaning you do pay them for internet, but not "blackberry internet" you can still get the internet to work with sprint...
