How to SMS messages to appear on screen

I am new to the curve and have converted from a treo. The sms messages from the treo would automatically appear on the screen when they are received. Is there a way that the curve can do this?

unfortunately not. you can go into the options menu and have the last 15 messages stored, but nothing quite like the "aim" format the treo has.
