I am new to BB's so forgive me for a dumb question. I can't seem to figure out how to press the # sign during a call. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. If you call somewhere and they ask you to enter your account number followed by the pound sign. I can enter the numbers OK, but can not figure out how to make the #sign work. I've tried Alt+#, I've tried Alt+Left Lock+#. Nothing works.I can't remember which one, but one of these actually does make the # sign show on the screen, but no tone occurs.

Hold the ALT and press Q, that should do it...

While in the phone app (on a call) you just push the # key by itself. It appears on the screen and sends the tone.

Wow. rrebo's suggestion works. You'd think I would have tried that first. I have a way of making things more difficult than they should be. Thanks.

Actually, I believe that will input a letter Q.
