I have less than 3MB left. I only have about 3 apps I put on myself, the rest came with the phone 8320 t-mobile. Not sure what to do, I want more I installed an 8GB memory card in hopes of transfering the apps to it.

Sorry Toxicity, you can't put apps on your card. Strictly for media. Here's a link to recover some. Good luck, and Happy Merry!

    20,749,912 bytes = 19.788MB (round to 20MB)

Basically, if it is an eight digit number take the first two and that
    is you MB file free.

If the number is seven digits, the first digit is the MB file free.

If it is six or less, you got problems
And what if its 9 digits would you then take the first 3 digits I would imagine?
    .
My #'s are: 334,935,474 bytes, so that would translate to 334mb's then.
    .
It always confuses me when making the conversion. (I'm on a Bold 9650)

Solachica, you need to do a battery pull asap. You're running dangerously low on memory and are about to start losing your messages.

Not true, not true. Help says Berry needs 400KB to operate. I have gotten to 1MB before a quickpull pro reset and have not lost anything.

This is false. Berry needs 400KB to operate. Check out the help.

Used BBsak to strip down the bloatware on OS5.0.0.438 on 8330. Had 42mb after. Loaded several apps and now have a comfortable 26mb.

i have a lil over 22MB with weatherbug direct, at&t navigator, and vlingo installed

did the basic free up memory stuff. not any advanced stuff

just got rid of like help and the sample video. that kinda stuff

how much do you have and with what installed...and i don't wanna hear from any verizon folks flaunting their 96MB
First of all I have at least 12 3rd party apps installed and am on VZW like you so I am confused why you do not want to know what people on your own carrier would have like myself I have free internal device memory of 107mb at any given time...give or take a few 10ths here and there.

A bit of an apology... I am so use to the Tour forums since I am a Tour owner and forgot i am answering for my old BB 8330 which has less memory than my Tour. The tour has 256mb to start and that is why I have so much.

It seems that you are a bit low but by the answers from others in this post you are not that bad off.

I have to do a battery pull at least 2-3 times each day as my phone locks up with the hourglass. Phone calls will drop due to this lock up. I installed maxmem and deleted several unused applications. I only have Facebook, Poynt, and google maps apps installed. I have to discard email messages, delete all phone logs several times each day. I only have 1.3MB free memory (that is unusually high...usually below 1 MB). This is my second BB Curve 8310 from AT&T. What am I doing wrong? I have never seen memory levels like the ones recorded on this forum.
