how many hours does your curve last ? and what kind of user are you ?
i just bought an 8830 but the battery was bad. then i bought a new battery and realized that it has as much power as a curve, so i want to know how much you all get out of yours curves.
I just bought the seidio extended battery. The one thats normal sized, it says im supposed to charge it for 8 hours. So i cant really guage my time yet. Im hoping it was worth the money
mine usually goes for about 2-3 days before needing a recharge. heavy user, don't talk much but i browse, IM/text/email a lot. i have my brightness turned down to 10% and use standby whenever i'm not using.
I charge my battery at night and remove it at 630am and it is normally dead by lunch or so. I receive emails quite constantly and text quite a bit on occassion and use the bbm. I just thought that the 5hour thing was normal! Thank goodness that my 7100i takes the exact same battery and so it acts as a charging station in my truck during the day. I would like to get the extended battery but this is working for me. We have a 5 house chargers, 4 car chargers and a 12volt adapter for plugging into the wall to use the car charger. My wife and I both have bb's so around our house we don't have to say where's the charger lol. Good luck!

I only charge my phone 2 or 3 hours every 3 to 4 days. I have found mix reviews on the proper way to charge your phone. Most of the articles i find say NOT to charge overnight. Don't know how true that is????

No problem with charging overnight, the bb will keep you from overcharging the battery. However i have recently been reading that it is not good to get in the habit of running your battery low and then fully charging it everytime. It is more healthy for the batterys lifetime. Im looking forward to seeing how the seidio extended battery works
Battery life in this Curve is a whole lot better than of my previous treo 700p. By the end of the night, my treo would be at 25% battery. With the curve, it's still around 60%.
I take mine off the charger no later than 7am. I text, opera mini, bbm, and have jivetalk running all day. When I plug my BB in at night it still has about 45% battery life left.
I always put it on the AC charger overnight. Depending on how boring the meetings I'm in during the day it will last all day (11pm) for heavy use or 2-3 day for light use. But for a BB is there anything that you can call light use.
I have a pearl 8130 and I'm a true BB addict, constant use. I viigo, browse, text & email A LOT, listen to music & watch sprint tv. Through all that I charge mine twice a day on average, once midday and while I sleep. Can anyone tell me if the extended battery is actually worth the money?

my curve 8330 battery lasts 2 days. I get about 10 phone calls a day and text and email constantly. I do have it auto shut down at 11 and auto turn on at 7 so its not on while I'm sleeping.
