Anyone know how to load ringtones to my Verizon 8330? I can't use their darn Roxio because it keeps locking up my PC. I can see the BB in my PC Directory and have tried copying the MP3 to the ringtones directory, but can't get the BB Profile to find it as a ringtone.

Are the ringtones .mp3 format?

Go to Profiles---Advanced---select the profile---choose option (phone, SMS, etc) then go to the top where it says Browse.

Try that and see if it works.

I use a File Manager program, Dopus, and my BB shows up as a new removable disk.

When I double click on it the directory structure shows "Blackberry" and inside that there are a bunch of directories. Like you said, all I ever do is drag and drop into the Ringtone directory and it will show up in that directory.

One thing I have noticed is that you normally have to go to Media and open that app. It does a scan on all the new items that you transfered and then the ringtones and music files show up.

Maybe that will help if you do that.
