Bascially i don't know when someone hangs up on me or ends the call because i don't hear no sound or buzz. How can i fix this?

You can't. There's no sound for that. You need to look at the screen.



Or listen for the silence.

Is this fix in the newer versions of the blackberrys, such as the bolds 9700,9780? and is there any apps for this problem?

Well, I don't believe that there are any BlackBerry devices that support that.

On my regular cell phones, the only time I have "heard a beep" is when the call was lost due to a network issue, but not when the other person hangs up.

You can look for an app.

The screen will say disconnected when the other party hangs up.

Also no one will be talking back to you! Haha!

losing the connection due to network error will create a signal and noise, I beleieve this is standard on most networks etc.

the other person hanging up? why should that create a specific sound etc as that would mean you get it everytime and not just when there is a problem

Have you tried....
"Can you hear me now?" If nobody answers you...they hung up!

Seriously though...when I still had CellOne I got a tone on my phone when the call disconnected, no matter why. Never really noticed that the BB doesn't do that.

You can use BerryBuzz. It has a call connect/disconnect feature that lets you set a colored LED or certain vibration.
