Just bought a theme from this store. I can't seem to find a way to install it. My 8320 used to connect to my WIFI, but after the latest software update, they seemed to disable that feature. I tried using BB Desktop Manager, but that looks for .ALI files.

Anyone have a proven method? Many of the techniques found on the Internet are not working.

Any way to reinstall the old OS that allowed me to connect to my WIFI?

You need the jad and the cod files, and you can copy them to your SD card. There's an OTA loader program that will download the files for you somewhere.

I downloaded the ota and was able to retrieve all the .cods and the put them all on the memory card with the .jad. Still got an error when installing, GRR.

Error is 907 invalid COD

try grabbing create-a-jad (also makes ALX files).

Then make yourself an ALX, and install through desktop manager.
