Just purchased the black berry curve earlier today and now I am having issues trying to locate the PIN. any suggestions on how to find?

Sure. Go to Options > Status. It will Say PIN and show your number with the letters in it, to the far right. Hope that helps.

go to options then status on the main menu, it will tell you your pin. or you can go to you bb messenger and edit your profile and it will tell you there also.
