How do you make accent marks on the Blackberry Curve 8330 while typing? In everything I've read, it says to simply hold the letter key of your choice while rolling the trackball until you come to the accented character you wish. However, this doesn't work for me, for some reason. Anyone have any tips? What am I doing wrong?
That is correct. Hold the letter and scroll with the trackball as you continue to hold down the letter key. It only works when sending Emails, PIN, or BlackBerry Messenger messages. It will not work when sending SMS text messages, because the characters are only specific to BlackBerry phones.
