does anyone know a good coverter? i recorded a video i wanted to send in a MMS message but its saying the file exceeded the permitted limit to send so i was goin to try n edit it but can't because it's not mpg or mpeg. can anyone help with some ideas on what i can do so i can send this video? it's over 800kbz

Being a German I found a great German tool called XMedia-recode (freeware!!). It converts LOADS of formats and even allows you to choose your own settings, not only prepared ones.
Go to xmedia-recode.de and get a copy. If you are able of a tiny bit German, you should do fine.
