I tried but when I called a number I DID NOT want my number to come up and it still came up....what did I do wrong?

Nascarfan's suggestion will work, but it will block ur number for ALL calls. I use *67 then the number for blocking individual calls

Both are excellent suggestions. I've used *67 individually and have also made the adjustments to my phone. I've gone so far as to add the *67 to numbers in my contact list and saved them. That way, these particular contacts can't see my number.

Neither. Just *67 and then the area code, if there is one, and the number. No other keys needed.
