How do I reset my blackberry to all the default settings and get rid of e-mail accounts and the address book, the whole nine yards. Like it's new, so I can start from scratch.

Thank you, now what exactly will this do? Is it a bad idea? Will it hurt anything? This was my mom's and I just want to get all the e-mail accounts off and all her phone numbers. When I add numbers to the phone book, it still says "no addresses".

    Thanks

This will delete any personal information from the handset. You may have to log into your Mom's account on the AT&T BIS web site and delete the email account there too.

It will keep any instaled apps too.

sunkast raises a good point. Not only must you remove your Mom's email account from BIS but you will need to cancel the entire account (unless you plan using it) before it will transfer to your carrier/account.

You will need to call the current carrier to get this done.

It's not supposed to. If you want to erase the media card, do a Format.

    Options, Media Card, Menu, Format.
