    Try going to call button/menu/status/timers/menu/clear all timers.

    I'm not sure you can reset the life timer. Its there for a reason. I think the only way that might do it is an OS upgrade.

    Your lifetime timer cannot be nor should it be easily reset. It is just like the odometer on a car. Would you like it if someone sold you a car saying 500 miles on the odometer but was more like 5,000 or 35,000?

    Due to potential fraudulent use I'm pretty sure the only way to do this is kept internally by RIM themselves for when a phone is considered "Refurbished" and its info is modified a bit.

    i cleared mine and do about once a month it doesn't seem to bother anything! Im not going to re-sale it I have had it over a year!

    hrm, i wasn't sure that BB's had a visible life timer. if i wipe my phone (which i do once in a while) all my timers reset. therefore if is resettable, it its not a life timer
