In e-mail, under Options, Email Settings, I have accounts listed that I no longer want/use. How do I delete them from the list?

Under Personal e-mail Setup, these accounts do not appear (I deleted them there).

Do a battery pull, or go to options/advanced options/service book and delete all the ones no longer in use.

Wow. 4 minutes. Right answer. The battery pull didn't work for me but the other idea worked perfectly. Thanks!

    Halp!

I had two email accounts on my 8830:

    - a verizon address
    - a gmail address

I deleted the Verizon address from the service book, and later did a battery pull, but in the mailbox (the thing that looks like a mailbox with the flag up) I keep getting the verizon messages.

    Any suggestions?

I'm not part of any corporate system -- just a private schmo who bought a Blackberry.

Thanks in advance for any tips!

Resend the service books from the BIS

    That should help.

Thanks! But I was unable to log on -- "account already created" (!) (I've owned my phone for only a week).

The longer version of my tale of woe is below.
