    Default hourglass on everything

Every time I run an application or download anything the hourglass will pop up for a short period of time. My memory is fine so I don't know what it could be. Please help.

It's thinking or searching. How's your signal strength? I get an hourglass from time to time. It's never been a problem.

It seems like lots of Verizon users are posting this recently.

I am a Verizon 8330 user who experienced the awful hourglass issue as well. I seem to have solved my problem by turning off content compression, an option which is enabled by default by BB OS. The option is found by opening options > security options > general settings.

Please try this for me - disable content compression then do a 1 min battery pull. Let us know the results. Anyone with the hourglass issue shoud try this.

I have content compression disabled by default, and done 3 battery pulls of a minute or longer. Nothing is working.
