I have had a hotmail account for sooo... long that I would NEVER, repeat NEVER have that account pushed. I would rather just go to hotmail via the web on occaision and check that way.

Otherwise, I would be getting ton's of non-stop e-mail offers for Viagra and increasing my bust size, and vacation offers in pakistan...all day long...haha.

I've had my Verizon BB just over a month now with now problem having my Hotmail pushed. As of 9/14 I haven't received any email. No information found on the Verizon or Hotmail sites addressing this. I have resent service books, deleted the email account and used the set wizard, and still no email. Seems to me that Hotmail has changed something. Getting my email as it is sent was a reason to get the BB. Sure, I can go to the internet and get email, but I get numerous emails throughout the day that require an answer. It's not productive to log into the internet constantly.

I have hotmail and gmail on my BB and they both work perfectly and they both push emails

I remember when I had previous bb's, I tried to put hotmail, and it never worked. Ever since I upgraded my curve to 4.5, I can now get hotmail on my bb. Although I did have to add it from my BIS site on my laptop. But it works fine.

Interesting rodrigo. Wonder why my Hotmail stopped being pushed? Are you paying for the premium service, because I'm not. I must be missing something then in order to get it to start pushing again.

I need help....I have set up the blackberry account with BIS. I'm having issues with my hotmail. This is the message I got after the set-up "Leave messages on the server." There is more detail, but I cannot figure out how to set the server for my hotmail to leave the email messages on the server.

I cant give you any advice as my hotmail setup was easy... but I do recommend you start a new thread as this one is more than a year and a half old...lol
