I have been reading up on the Curve here for a couple weeks now and yesterday decided to take the plunge. I was contemplating waiting for the bold, but when I walked into the at@t store and held the Curve in my hand it seemed the perfect size, I don't think I would want anything bigger. I couldn't resist, especially when the total phone cost came to 50 bucks.
All I can say is WOW, I have no idea how I managed without one of these bad boys. I would like to thank all of you for giving me that final little push to take the plunge. I have 2 questions though...
1. How on earth do you delete apps? I swear I have looked everywhere on this phone.
2. Is there a program that allows you to create your own ringtones? I had one for my rzr and it was the hot tip.
Again, thanks for righting my ship.
To remove apps
1) on device go to options > advanced options > applications >
select app you want to delete > press menu and then delete.
You may or may not need to reboot the phone.
2) Desktop Manager (DM) click application loader > select app> take check out of box > step your way through to finish
3) Some things can only be removed by the methods in one of
the 1st three links in my sig. But all are good ways to free up memory
4) You probably have a bunch of Media Mall icons, those are
sent as service books and can't be permanently deleted, best to
simply hide them
